Wonder, the unique food hall that dominated last year’s news cycle, is setting out to prove that the success enjoyed in 2025 was not a fluke. The New York-based chain is adding another DC location to its roster, with a shop in the Parks at Walter Reed coming later this year, reports the Washington Business Journal.

Wonder has submitted an application to the D.C. Board of Zoning Adjustment to open a 2,900 square foot storefront in the Clover at The Parks building. While not every Wonder food hall offers seating, the 1155 Dahlia Street NW spot will be able to accommodate up to 21 visitors who want to enjoy their meals on sight. Wonder will have seating for up to 13 guests inside and will be able to welcome another eight on an outside patio.

Wonder is not yet a foregone conclusion for the Parks at Walter Reed. The concept needs approval to operate as a fast food restaurant in a WR-3 zone. However if everything goes according to plan Wonder will be ready to greet guests this spring.

The foodhall has been steadily dominating the culinary scene through its partnerships with high profile chefs and its distinctive approach to quick-service dining. Wonder amasses a variety of concepts under the same roof and invites guests to order from as many restaurants as they’d like, with every meal aggregated on one bill and each dish made to order.
