No fall is complete without pumpkin spice, and Dolcezza is putting its own twist on seasonal classics this year.

Local favorite Dolcezza is debuting a Butterfinger Soft Serve Sundae, featuring Butterfinger soft serve dipped in chocolate and topped with crushed Butterfinger bars. The sundae will be available exclusively at DOLCEZZA’s H St., Hirshhorn, and Mom & Pop locations from October 22 to November 2, in a cone or cup for $10.

Dolcezza crafted its fall pumpkin spice syrup using 1,800 pounds of heirloom crookneck pumpkins from Beiler’s Heritage Acres Farm in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

The pumpkins are blended with dark brown sugar, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, and clove to make a syrup featured in seasonal favorites like Pumpkin Spice Gelato, Pumpkin Spice Latte, and Pumpkin Chai Latte.

All the seasonal items will be available through November, offering guests a taste of fall in every bite or sip.

Dolcezza’s Honeycrisp Apple Sorbet is making a return this year, featuring apples sourced from Toigo Orchards in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. The crisp, refreshing flavor is a sign of the orchard’s harvest and complements the cozy, spiced notes of the pumpkin offerings.

Locally Rooted and Crafted by Hand

Dolcezza was founded in 2004 by Violeta Edelman and Robb Duncan. The DC-based gelato and coffee shop has grown into a local favorite, known for fresh gelato and carefully crafted coffee drinks. Now, it has seven locations: City Center, Dupont Circle, Hirshhorn Museum, H Street NE, Virginia’s Mosaic District, Maryland’s Bethesda Row, and Mom & Pop in Mosaic District.

Every batch of Dolcezza’s gelato is made daily at its Union Market Gelato Factory & Coffee Lab using ingredients from local farms. From hand-squeezed citrus to carefully melted chocolate, each step blends traditional techniques with local craftsmanship.

Dolcezza proves once again why it’s a DC favorite. The addition of creamy pumpkin spice to the rich Butterfinger Sundae delivers a true taste of the season.
