Reston famiglia, get ready to mangia at one of Virginia’s favorite local chains. Deli Italiano, a known and established name within the dining community, is opening a new location at the Lake Anne Shopping Center, reports local media outlet The Burn.

The concept has been working on its new 1631 Washington Plaza storefront for quite some time, but has run into a series of complications pertaining to permitting. Specifically, the project has encountered issues related to exterior renovations. While this has slowed the restaurant’s progress, it has certainly not stopped it, and while a firm opening date is not yet available, the official website assures future regulars the Reston location is “cooking soon!”

Founded in 1990 in Great Falls, Virginia, Deli Italiano is dedicated to serving superior cuisine and becoming an essential part of every community it enters. Owner Yasser Baslios expressed this desire to FFXNow, saying “We’re gonna come in as good neighbors,” he said. “We love the community very much and that’s why I keep…trying to do my best just to be in this community.”

Propelled by delicious, freshly made cuisine, Deli Italiano already has four storefronts open across Virginia. While the eatery offers a variety of Italian favorites, the pizza is the star of the menu. Made with from-scratch dough and sauce and 100% mozzarella cheese, the pies are not to be missed.
