A new Pupatella Neapolitan Pizza location is slated to open in Old Town North Alexandria by the winter of 2023-2024.
Managing partner Michael Berger told What Now DC that the new location, which will be located at 700 Slaters Lane, will feature an outdoor patio and an indoor seating area that could take up to 45 guests.
The Pupatella Neapolitan Pizza team is still in the permitting process and demolitions at the space are underway.
Berger told What Now DC that he and his team chose this location because they wanted to be in that Alexandria market in an area that is somehow close to the other Pupatella Neapolitan locations and also offers parking spaces to customers.
“This building was very attractive to us as a standalone with a parking [lot] and being very proximate to the community that we serve,” Berger said. “We’re really looking to be the neighborhood’s pizzeria and so in that location, being on the edge of the old town market, it’ll make it more convenient for our guests to access the property.”
The pizzeria, which has DC and multiple Virginia locations, will continue to keep the menu consistent in all its restaurants, and it is currently preparing to launch a pizza with toppings that include fig and prosciutto.
