Hungry Virginia frequent flyers will soon be able to enjoy a taste of the seaside as they prepare for their travels. Rappahannock Oyster Co., a popular Virginia-based seafood favorite, is bringing its cuisine to the Dulles International Airport, reports Axios D.C.

The restaurant’s arrival at 1 Saarinen Cir is part of the airport’s ongoing efforts to improve and elevate its dining scene. An opening timeline is not currently available for Rappahannock Oyster Co.

Rappahannock Oyster Co. has a long history in the DMV area. The company can trace its humble beginnings back to Virginia in 1899. Rappahannock harvests four types of oysters: Rappahannocks, Snow Hills, Stingrays, and Olde Salts. The brand’s commitment to excellence has earned it a spot on the Wall Street Journal’s list of Five Outstanding Oyster Bars in the United States.

The Dulles location will be Rappahannock’s seventh restaurant. The oyster magnate also operates eateries in Topping and Richmond in Virginia, Charleston, South Carolina, Los Angeles, California, and Union Market and the Wharf in DC.
