Popular Residents Cafe & Bar is slated to open a second location on the Georgetown waterfront at 3000 K St. NW.
The new location will have a seating area for 120 people indoors and 35 outdoors, according to a liquor license application filed for the restaurant last week. Live entertainment will also be provided indoors and outdoors. An opening date is yet to be announced.
Residents Cafe & Bar currently has a Dupont Circle location at 1306 18th Street NW. The name, Residents, refers to all immigrants in DC, Eater DC previously reported.
The managing partners behind Residents Cafe & Bar are David Nammour, the owner of the Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant Muncheez, and longtime events promoter Nayef Issa.
Dishes at Residents range from flat iron steak and charred octopus to mini gyros and lobster risotto. The restaurant also has a cocktail menu and wine list and serves brunch.
