Renowned restaurateurs and married couple Roberto Donna Nancy Sabbagh will open a French-inspired bistro called Le Bistro.

Le Bistro will be replacing the refined dining restaurant Blend 111 at 111 Church St NW Suite 101. Donna, who also owns another restaurant on Church Street called Ristorante Italiano, told What Now DC that Le Bistro is set to open in around four weeks.

Donna said that his team is currently training employees as they become a crucial part of customers’ Le Bistro experience. He told What Now DC that the menu will feature pastries, salads, pâté, snails, sweet offerings, and beef bourguignon among other dishes. Main courses will be priced at less than $35, according to Northern Virginia Magazine.

Given that Donna already owns another restaurant on Church Street, he is particularly fond of that area, and he and Sabbagh thought it would be perfect for a French bistro.

“We were looking at the place and we decided that this would be great to open a French bistro instead of a pizzeria [his initial idea]. I always wanted to do a French bistro,” he said.
