Autumn is bringing European-style treats and ambiance to Frederick this year. Roggenart European Bakery, Bistro, & Cafe is opening a new location-its sixth-in the region, reports the Baltimore Business Journal.

The DMV favorite will be opening at 1305 West 7th Street in the Frederick shopping center. Roggenart is finishing up construction on the building and has begun hiring the 20 workers the bakery will employ.

Roggenart managing partner Brody Tennant expresses enthusiasm about bringing the concept’s treats to Frederick. He tells WMAR : “Frederick is a charming area seeped in history, which is why we’re excited to open the next Roggenart location here in the fall. We pride ourselves on creating innovative and delicious baked goods based on the tradition of European baking and we cannot wait to welcome our new neighbors to try our items.”

Founded in 2017, Roggenart strives to create a comfortable environment, complete with delicious food, made with the best ingredients, to every neighborhood it enters. The website describes the bakery’s objective as: “creating a feel-good place with fresh, highest quality food, cozy and filled with positive energy. ROGGENART is a place where you can take time for yourself to work, meet with friends, reflect, love, eat and enjoy life. Whether it is breakfast, lunch, a simple coffee or just a late afternoon with Friends, we want to be your third place.”
