Montgomery County is getting a new destination for food and fun. Japanese juggernaut Round1 Bowling & Arcade is bringing its second Maryland location to a sprawling storefront in the Wheaton Mall, and it will provide locals with delicious dining and a wide variety of entertainment options, reports local media outlet MoCo Show.
Round1 Bowling & Arcade will be taking over the former home of Hollywood East Cafe at 11160 Veirs Mill Road The space will afford the entertainment complex a whopping 49,000 square feet. And what, precisely, will such an expansive storefront contain? Wheaton Mall shoppers can look forward to bowling lanes, Japanese arcade games, private karaoke rooms, over 100 crane machines, and plenty of good eats for hungry visitors.
Round1 is bound to become a Montgomery County favorite, with something for everyone. A representative speaking of the new location states: “Round1 is all about creating memorable experiences. We’re excited to bring our unique mix of games, food, and fun to the Wheaton community.”
An opening date is not presently available for Round1’s new Maryland location. What Now DC has reached out to management for further information and will update readers as further information becomes available.
