AC Hotel & Residence Inn by Marriott Reston (1975 Opportunity Wy, Reston, VA 20190) announced its lobby-level SEVEN Restaurant, set to open in January 2025. SEVEN distinguishes itself with an eclectic menu rooted in European culinary traditions, under the direction of Executive Chef Alexis Hernandez who draws inspiration from his South American heritage and worldly travels.

With a focus on locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients and artful presentations, Hernandez’s innovative cuisine with the use of French techniques will take diners on a culinary journey designed to explore fresh perspectives on food and diverse flavors. Guests can begin with classic European dishes such as Pulpo, a wood-grilled octopus dish complemented with baby potatoes, chorizo topped with olive aioli and an innovative approach to Grilled Calamari, presented with a green burst of vibrant chimichurri topped with a charred lemon. Main dishes with Latin American influences include the Scallop Linguini, served with bay scallops tossed in a creamy Peruvian aji amarillo sauce and the vegan Roasted Cauliflower, seasoned with tajín, brushed with a sweet, smoky panca BBQ and accompanied by a luscious cauliflower purée and sweet rocoto aioli.

Located on the street level of the dual-branded AC Hotel and Residence Inn by Marriott Reston, SEVEN’s vibrant atmosphere is accentuated by the dining room’s large floor-to-ceiling windows that shine natural light into the dining area. At the entrance, guests are greeted with cozy lounge areas, perfect for sipping cocktails at the glass-encased fireplace. The central, sleek bar is filled with top-shelf spirits and wine.

SEVEN’s environment is deeply connected to the visionary ideals of Reston founder, Robert E. Simon. His seven principles – which emphasize individuality, community, beauty and inclusivity – serve as a blueprint for how SEVEN approaches food, design and hospitality.

SEVEN will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. More information about the menu will be released ahead of opening.
