Great news for the in vino veritas crowd; the truth is, the wine will soon be flowing abundantly in a new DMV establishment. Sixty Vines, which takes its name from the sixty varieties of wine it keeps on tap, is opening a location in Gaithersburg, reports local media outlet TasteDMV.

The chain will be pouring glasses at 212 Ellington Boulevard, in the space that previously housed Old Town Pour House. That establishment ceased operation on October 24 of 2023, leaving locals thirsty for a good glass of wine.

A precise opening date is not currently available for Sixty Vines’ Downtown Crown neighborhood home, however the unique food and drink spot began hiring in late January. A representative from the nearby Reston, Virginia Sixty Vines states the establishment will open in October of this year.

In addition to an impressive selection of wines, Sixty Vines will be bringing delicious cuisine to Chevy Chase. The company describes its menu, stating: “Sixty Vines also offers chef-driven dishes inspired by the seasons and made with fresh, local ingredients—perfect for wine pairing. Most locations offer an immersive dining experience, featuring indoor and patio seating, a full bar, and third-party delivery for those who don’t want to leave the house.”
