DC residents may soon notice the fragrant aroma of freshly brewed java wafting from a new location. A Slipstream Coffee cafe is showing signs of life, reports local media outlet PoPville.

The concept, named one of “The 15 Best Coffee Shops Around D.C.” by Eater Washington D.C. has signage up at a 19th and H Street, NW storefront. Details about Slipstream’ new home remain evasive; What Now DC has reached out to ownership for further information but has not yet heard back.

An opening timeline is not presently available-in fact, the 19th Street cafe is not yet listed on the Slipstream website, compounding the mystery.

Locals eager to sample the brand’s single-origin coffees can stop into one of Slipstream’s existing locations at 1201 New York Ave NW and 1333 P Street NW.

The cafe has drawn many a satisfied customer with its coffees, however the food menu is nothing to scoff at. Boasting what Eater Washington D.C. refers to as some of the best avocado toast in the city, the cafe also offers all-day breakfast options, lunch bowls and sandwiches, and a selection of housemade pastries.
