Northern Virginia diners with a hankering for authentic Pakistani cuisine will soon be able to indulge their cravings, with no need for a passport. Swadi Pakistani Kitchen, having already established itself as a superior and reliable caterer, is preparing to open its first brick-and-mortar location, reports local media outlet The Burn.

The eatery will be joining a small shopping center at 46000 Old Ox Road. The space is currently undergoing renovations in anticipation of Swadi’s opening. While a precise opening date is not currently available, owner Afzal Sandhu confirms to What Now DC that the restaurant will be open by the end of February.

Swadi has made a name for itself through its delicious and freshly prepared Punjabi-Pakistani dishes. While the restaurant’s menu is not presently available, the catering selection offers a tantalizing glimpse of what culinary delights await local foodies.

Swadi has options for everyone; in addition to the myriad meat dishes, the eatery offers several vegetarian choices. Speaking of the concept’s various curries, chutneys, and rices, the website states: “We want to provide you a taste of home that you can’t find in any restaurant. All orders are cooked by our head chef with premium ingredients”.
