Happy news for Loudoun County fans of Mexican cuisine. Speculation has turned into construction, and Taco Bamba, a popular local chain, is building up a location at the Cascades Marketplace, reports local media outlet The Burn.
The concept is taking over the space last occupied by Baja Fresh at 20968 Southbank Street. Work has begun in earnest on the building, however certain evidence of the previous tenant lingers. While considerable work remains to be done, the Taco Bamba website states that the Sterling location will be opening in winter of 2025.
Taco Bamba, founded in 2013 by Chef Victor Albisu, tailors the menu for each individual storefront to its local neighborhood. The concept’s delicious cuisine has led it to expand to 15 locations across Virginia, DC, Maryland, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
While each menu is different, Loudoun visitors can look forward to enjoying variations on breakfast tacos and empanadas, tortas, tacos, and quesadillas.
