One of DC’s top cocktail bars is getting a little sister this summer. Taste of Lucy, the truncated sibling to Giulio Adriani’s’ Lucy Bar, will be opening in Union Market sometime next month, reports Eater Washington D.C.

The concept will be sharing an 800 square foot space at 1309 5th Street NE with a new location of Slice & Pie, another Adriani project. Taste of Lucy will have seating for around 20 guests, spread across booths and the bar.

While a precise opening date is not yet available, Taste of Lucy should be ready to serve up signature cocktails and delicious bites by mid-July. Adriani is enthusiastic about entering the space, saying: “Union Market has always been on my list…I am a New Yorker, so I love Chelsea Market, and I think also communal space has always been something that’s intrigued me, so it’s something very exciting.”

Taste of Lucy will feature five different cocktails, two of which Adriani is developing specifically for Union Market. Hungry visitors can look forward to sinking their teeth into a selection of appetizers, Neapolitan pizzas (a specialty of Adriani’s), and a weekly pasta.
