A New England-based bakery that’s made a big splash in the DMV is continuing to strengthen its local presence. Tatte Bakery & Cafe is bringing even more sweet treats, sandwiches, coffees, and teas to the region when its upcoming Fairfax location opens later this summer, reports local media outlet FFXNow.
The concept’s latest storefront-located at 11040 Main Street-will be a part of the Kamp Washington shopping center. Tatte will be open and ready to serve guests from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. The cafe is eying a late August opening.
Tatte has made quite a name for itself since its founding by pastry chef Tzurit Or in 2007. The chain has expanded to include 44 locations, primarily concentrated in the Boston area, but with a very respectable showing in the DMV as well. The Fairfax location will be Tatte’s fifth in Virginia and second in Fairfax.
Future customers can look forward to a menu full of both sweet and savory options. Tatte offers an impressive range of sandwiches, salads, and shakshuka alongside cookies, brownies, and breads.
