Rockville diners will soon be getting a taste of some of the DMV’s favorite pastries, straight out of Boston. Tatte Bakery & Cafe is bringing its signature baked goods to the neighborhood next year, reports The List: Are You on It?
The concept, which has established a humble but mighty presence in the DC metropolitan area, will be opening at 12232 Rockville Pike, in the Rockville Town Plaza. While a precise opening date is not currently available, Tatte is aiming to open its latest Maryland location in winter of 2025, suggesting local fans won’t need to wait too much longer to sink their teeth into the bakery’s delicious treats.
Founded in Brookline, Massachusetts by Tzurit Or in 2007, Tatte Bakery & Cafe has established itself as an oven to watch in the DMV area. The concept currently has 16 locations spread across DC, Virginia, and Maryland.
Tatte, with its motto of “To Inspire, Care for, and Nurture life. Every Day.”, features seasonal menus, as well as drink, brunch, and all-day selections. Visitors can look forward to an impressive selection of sandwiches, salads, quiches, and shakshuka.
