A growing chain is bringing the DMV area a double-dose of modern American cuisine later this year. Ted’s Bulletin is working towards opening its eighth and ninth locations in the region, reports the Washington Business Journal.

First up for the concept is a long-delayed restaurant coming to the NoMa CNTR, in DC. Ted’s Bulletin will occupy 5,200 square feet at 1005 First Street, NE. The eatery, owned by entrepreneur Steve Salis’s Catalogue, first made plans for the space about two years ago, but faced myriad delays on the path to opening.

Salis describes the complications Ted’s Bulletin faced, stating “We had some supply chain challenges. We had some issues with certain things we needed to get done, such as switchboards, and HVAC, and millwork. In construction, some things are sequential, and some things are concurrent. We said we really need to wait for these things to come in.”

However, the NoMa location is now on course to open in late May or early June.

Ted’s Bulletin is additionally working towards opening a restaurant at Carlyle Crossing in Alexandria. Little information is currently available about that particular location and its timeline.
