Popular New York City pub The Dead Rabbit is opening its third U.S. location in DC next year at Penn Quarter.

Though an exact address hasn’t been announced yet, Eater DC reported that the two-level pub will be located two blocks away from Capital One Arena and the National Portrait Gallery.

The Dead Rabbit, well known for its Irish whiskeys, will span a 6,200-square-foot space.

“We are on a mission to decouple the American-Irish pub from its inaccurate stereotypes, and that can’t be done with one location in New York,” managing partner Jack McGarry said, according to Eater DC.

The Dead Rabbit, which was founded in 2013, was ranked one of the World’s 50 Best Bars.

The pub recently expanded its collection of Irish cocktails. It also serves lamb stews, fish and chips, corned beef hash, and Irish breakfasts.

What Now DC reached out to Laura Torres, the director of operations at The Dead Rabbit, and is yet to hear back.
