The Grill Cooking up a New Virginia Location

The concept will be making its Virginia Beach debut in 2025.

One of DC’s top restaurant groups is preparing to hit the beach-Virginia Beach, to be precise. Knead Hospitality + Design is bringing The Grill, its unique American-style eatery, to the neighborhood next year, reports the Washington Business Journal.

The restaurant will be making its Virginia debut in the Atlantic Park mixed-use development. The Grill will be a central part of the up-and-coming 350 million dollar project, alongside fellow Knead concept, Mi Vida.

An exact opening date is not presently available for The Grill, however Knead anticipates greeting and feeding guests in the second quarter of 2025.

The Grill is currently sating the appetites of satisfied DC customers in its 99 Market Square SW home. The kitchen, helmed by Chef Roberto Santibañez, emphasizes woodfire cooking. The website describes the menu as having “an emphasis on steak, seafood and vegetarian fare.” The Grill additionally offers an impressive array of sophisticated cocktails for the discerning and over-21 crowd.
