According to a recent article from PoPville, Three Fifty Bakery and Coffee Bar will relocate to DuPont Circle, located at 1639 R St NW.

A representative of Three Fifty Bakery and Coffee Bar was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now DC’s request.

While an official reopening date has yet to be released, according to the Intentionalist, “Three Fifty Bakery & Coffee Bar owner Jimmy Hopper started baking as a hobby while he worked as an IT manager in Dallas.”

Intentionalist also states that Jimmy moved to DC in 2012 in order to be closer to his partner, and then decided to turn his love of baking into his own business.

“After taking the baking course, Hopper worked part-time decorating wedding cakes and cookies, before moving to D.C. and leasing the property for his new business, Three Fifty Bakery & Coffee Bar. It would take the first-time business owner an entire year to open up the space. The bakery was initially intended to specialize in cake decorating but Hopper and his partner recognized that what the community needed more was a coffee bar and bakery for their morning commute,” a recent Washington Blade article stated.

At Three Fifty, Hopper is described as your dedicated purveyor of delectable delights, offering an array of scones, pastries, and expertly crafted coffee beverages. What sets them apart? Each and every item they serve is lovingly baked in-house, ensuring an unrivaled standard of freshness and quality.

Some of Three Fifty’s offerings include biscotti, cookies & pound cake, espresso drinks & a patio, with menu options all under ten dollars. Their menu includes vegan, gluten-free, and keto options as well. The name Three Fifty is in homage to the “perfect baking temperature” for pastries.
