A popular New York based omakase restaurant is preparing to feed busy DMV foodies looking for a lot of food in a limited time. Sushi by Bou is planning to open a restaurant in DC, reports popular Twitter feed @eat_dc.

The distinctive concept will be making its DC debut at the Wharf, located at 760 Main Street SW, where it will join a slew of other popular restaurants. Very little information is currently available about the timed omakase restaurant, however according to Bizapedia, Sushi by Bou DC Wharf LLC filed as a limited liability company on Feb 5, 2024.

Sushi by Bou provides guests with a singular omakase experience. The restaurant offers timed chef’s choice 12-piece omakase dining, in a 30 or 60 minute interval. The Sushi by Bou website explains that the timed seatings allow it to offer high-quality fish at a lower price.

Sushi by Bou currently has 14 locations across New York, New Jersey, South Florida, Chicago, and Philadelphia.
