The food concept currently taking the culinary world by storm is getting ready to deepen its hold in Maryland. Wonder, the food hall concept that has been dominating restaurant news, will be opening a new location in Frederick next month.

The hospitality heavy-hitter is setting up shop in a 5473 Urbana Pike storefront located next to a Starbucks and in front of a Target. While a precise opening date isn’t available yet, Frederick residents can rest assured that Wonder will be ready to serve them hot meals soon. The company website states that the Frederick food hall will be opening this March.

Wonder has burst onto the dining scene like a force of nature, opening many locations across the East Coast during 2025. The chain shows no signs of slowing down; the brand has several locations planned for 2026.

Wonder’s distinctive model differentiates it from other contenders in the fast-casual dining market. The concept partners with high-profile chefs to recreate their signature dishes and guests are invited to order from as many different restaurants as they’d like. Most Wonder storefronts house approximately 15 different eateries where dishes are made to order and aggregated under one bill.
