Van Leeuwen, one of the DMV region’s favorite ice cream concepts, is adding yet another opening to its already auspicious 2024 roster. The expanding concern is bringing its wide range of delectable flavors-including its highly lauded vanilla bean ice cream-to Arlington, reports the Washington Business Journal.

Van Leeuwen will be occupying space in the Grace apartment building located at 269 19th Court Street. The ice creamery will be in good company; the modern and luxurious complex has been accruing an impressive tenant list, including Tatte Bakery & Cafe, and an as-of-yet unnamed French restaurant from H2 Collective.

A precise opening timeline is not currently available, however Van Leeuwen’s first Virginia location is listed as “coming soon” on the brand’s website. While the Arlington location will be the concept’s introduction to Old Dominion, Van Leeuwen has a strong presence in the DMV, with three shops already open in DC and two more on the way.
