An enterprising sibling duo is bringing a taste of Amish country right to the heart of the DMV. Brother-and-sister team Sam and Jules Yoder are opening a new location of their popular bakery, Yoder’s Dutch Delights, in the One Loudoun development, reports local media outlet The Burn.

The donut shop will be a part of the Container Park region of the 20626 Easthampton Plaza compound. For the uninitiated, Container Park is precisely what the name suggests- a section of One Loudoun with a pair of shipping containers turned into storefronts. While this certainly makes for a unique setting, it does suggest that Yoder’s will need to adapt their menu to the limitations of working in such an unusual environment.

Sam Yoder explains to What Now DC what this means for the donut shop, saying: “Unlike our base location in Manassas Park, this pop-up concept does not have a kitchen and all donuts and baked goods will be brought fresh daily to the pop-up from our anchor store. Our menu will feature different varieties of our filled and frosted donuts as well as a line of specialty baked goods we are launching for this location.“

Yoder states that permits and inspections permitting, the storefront will be up and running by mid-June.

Yoder’s began its journey to sweet success as a food truck in Northern Virginia. The Yoders opened their first brick and mortar storefront earlier this year in Manassas Park. Yoder provides this peak at what makes its treats so distinctive and delicious: “Yoder’s Dutch Delights is a specialty donut company featuring fresh-made, sour dough donuts based on a family recipe from our Pennsylvania Dutch heritage. Our donuts are yeast-raised and hand stretched.”

The new location will allow the Yoder siblings to bring their superior donuts and welcoming spirits to a whole new audience. Yoder sums up the pair’s aspirations succinctly and impactfully, stating: “Our overall goal as a company is to bring unique Amish style products generally only found in select markets to a broader audience. We have a passion for great food and are excited for the opportunity to feature our products at One Loudoun.”
