The Win~Dow is opening in Silver Lake, serving up the brand’s much-loved burgers, fries, and ice cream.

The popular Venice take-away spot is launching a third location in the greater Los Angeles area at 1529 Griffith Park Blvd., confirmed Owner Paul Hibler during a phone interview with What Now Los Angeles on Tuesday.

“It will be The Win~dow with all the bells and whistles,” he said. “We’re very excited to come to the neighborhood.”

The burger joint also has locations at 425 Rose Ave., in Venice, and on the boardwalk at 1827 Ocean Front Walk. It’s a destination for classic smash-burgers, fried chicken sandwiches and $7 grain bowls.

They just signed the lease for the Silver Lake property and are in the planning and permitting stage, Hibler said. Although it’s pretty early in the process and they still need to get the project through the city, Hibler is hoping to open by mid-summer.

Menu items will be similar to the second Win~dow on the boardwalk, with dipped ice cream cones and frozen custard.

“Just to make that much more fun,” Hibler joked.

The important thing, Hibler said, is that they will still offer low prices and high value.

The first Win-dow is on the same property as American Beauty, a neighborhood steakhouse restaurant serving up classics with a new take. The second nearby location on the boardwalk opened in the fall, quickly becoming another burger hotspot for the brand.

Hibler, of Superba Food + Bread and Pitfire Pizza fame, hopes this is just the beginning and The Win~dow will continue expanding in the future.

“We’re very careful with the neighborhoods we’re choosing,” Hibler said. “We’re hoping to grow this more throughout all Southern California.”
