QuikTrip, the Oklahoma-based convenience store chain, is making its way into the Denver market.
A permit for a QuikTrip location was filed at 6395 E. Evans Avenue, formerly a Tesla Service Station. According to permit details, this project involves demolition of existing structures on site and the development of a convenience store and fuel pump island.
Founded in 1958, QuikTrip has grown to a more than $11 billion company with 850 location in 11 states. The chain has a sizable community of fans and patrons, garnering over 800,000 likes and follows on its Facebook page.
Along with the standard coffee, soda machines and fuel, QuikTrip convenience stores offer a little bit of everything. Customers can purchase fresh, made-to-order food like pizza, sandwiches, various breakfast items and desserts. For those in more of a hurry, there are also several grab-and-go options available including hot dogs, various pastries and salads.
According to reporting from Mile High CRE in February, QuikTrip has plans to open 70 locations in the Denver Metro area.
