Men’s grooming is getting a new home in the Denver Tech Center, where Hammer & Nails Grooming Shop is preparing to open its newest location at Belleview Station.
The shop will be located at 4884 S. Newport Street, where owners Zach and Kelly Daniels are currently overseeing construction. The location is expected to open this fall.
Hammer & Nails is designed to be more than a traditional barbershop, combining grooming services with a hospitality-driven lounge environment where customers can slow down and take some time for themselves.
“You can get a haircut anywhere. We’re creating a place where men can step away from everything, take an hour for themselves each month, and leave feeling like the best version of who they are,” Zach said.
The menu will include traditional grooming services such as haircuts and beard grooming, along with face and scalp treatments. But the concept also goes beyond the typical barbershop experience with hand and foot care.
“We offer everything that the typical barbershop does in terms of haircuts, beard grooming, face and scalp treatments. One thing that we do differently is we also offer hand and foot care, which is also extremely important,” Zach said.
That broader approach reflects a shift in how men are thinking about grooming and self-care, he said, with more attention being paid to services that have traditionally been associated with salons and spas. “But now we’re also seeing that there’s a sort of growth or increase in men taking care of not only the hair or the facial hair, but also now hand and feet,” he said.
The Belleview Station location will also feature a bar and lounge, creating a space where customers can spend time before or after their appointments rather than simply coming in for a haircut and heading out.
With construction underway, Hammer & Nails is expected to open its doors at Belleview Station this fall.
