Miller’s Ale House will open its eighth Orlando location in Hamlin Town Center near the Independence Parkway exchange on Route 429 in Winter Garden.
The popular beers, burgers, chicken wings and margaritas restaurant is expected to open late in the second quarter of 2022, according to a Hamlin Town Center press release. Hamlin is a mixed-use town center set along Greater Orlando’s beltway.
The sports-themed casual restaurant chain has grown to more than 98 locations in 10 states — including 65 in Florida — since the first Miller’s Ale House opened in 1988 in Jupiter, Florida, according to the company’s website. The Hamlin Town Center location will be a corporate-owned store.
Its signature dish is Zingers, which are not quite boneless chicken wings and not quite chicken fingers and are served with the diner’s choice of more than a dozen sauces. Not into chicken? There are all sorts of other dishes on the menu, including burgers and brews (of course), steaks, pasta dishes, salads and lots of appetizers. The full-service bar features has more than 75 varieties of local craft, seasonal and domestic beers plus specialty cocktails and a selection of wines.
The chain was acquired in 2013 by Roark Capital Group, an Atlanta-based private equity firm that owns more than 20 restaurant chains, including Arby’s, Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon, Carvel Ice Cream, Moe’s Southwest Grill and Wingstop.
The Hamlin Town Center deal was brokered by Michael Boyd and Kevin Merideth, sales and leasing associates with the Boyd Development Corporation; and David Gabbai, executive managing director at Colliers International.
