Surterra Wellness is making plans to take over a former restaurant space in the Milk District. The space was previously occupied by Steak ‘N Shake on East Colonial Drive but has been vacant since 2019.
Surterra has been working on a huge brand expansion in 2021 under parent-company Parallel and investment led by Chairman and chewing gum heir William “Beau” Wrigley Jr. They currently operate 37 wellness centers, with 34 in Florida. This will be their fourth expansion in the Orlando market.
According to their Instagram, Surterra is “your wingman in wellness,” and “your medicinal cannabis cabinet.” Focused on your well-being, you’ll find naturally-cultivated products in their stores which are said to help reduce anxiety, ease body pain, and promote healthy sleep.
