Michael Fagnoni and Molly Hawks, owners of Hawks Restaurant in Granite Bay’s Quarry Ponds Town Center, appear to be working on a new concept not too far away. A “coming soon” sign can be seen at 5540 Douglas Blvd., Suite 150, for a restaurant called Fagnoni’s. This news was first seen in the Sacramento Business Journal.

Fagnoni’s will be an Italian restaurant and bar and is slated to open in early 2025, according to Betty Patrick, property manager for Quarry Ponds Town Center. “It will feature outdoor dining, updated interior decor and a new bar area,” Patrick told the Business Journal. “We are so excited at this anticipated opening. It will be a great addition to our center and know it is in expert hands with Michael Fagnoni and Molly Hawks.”

Other tenants in Quarry Ponds Town Center include Peet’s Coffee, Oak Leaf Cafe and Capitol Cellars. The future home for Fagnoni’s has remained vacant since last August after Vechos had closed. What Now Sacramento reached out to the Hawks Restaurant for comments but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage.
