Souper Jenny is returning to Decatur next week. Owner Jenny Levison, who last year shuttered her soup and sandwich shop in the city, is launching a three-month pop-up inside Nuts ‘N Berries, the recently-opened North Decatur Plaza health food store, Souper Jenny announced in an email to patrons this week. “Amazing news…We’re back in Decatur!,” the email states. “We’re doing a POP-UP SHOP inside the new Nuts ‘N Berries….”

The Souper Jenny pop-up will last at least through the end of December 2020 with a start date of Monday, September 14. It will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It could become a permanent operation, however, depending on the pop-up’s success, according to further reporting by Eater Atlanta.

“We have been looking for a better Decatur location since we left downtown Decatur,” Levison told Eater Tuesday. “We already partner with the Nuts ‘N Berries in Brookhaven, which also started as a pop-up five years ago, so when they asked us to take over their food service area, it seemed like another great match.’

Nuts ‘N Berries replaced the 42-year-old Rainbow Natural Foods, at 2118 N Decatur Road, earlier this year.
