Storico Vino, a new venture headed by the owners of Italian concept Storico Fresco and the Roman Italian restaurant Forza Storico, is opening soon in The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, er-, Buckhead Village. Michael Patrick, Pietro Gianni, and Stephen Peterson announced Friday that they are opening the Italian wine bar in the former Corso Coffee space, at 3059 Peachtree Road NE.

Storico Vino has been operating as an online marketplace and now the brick-and-mortar location will offer a full cocktail list, locally sourced food by Executive Chef Michael Patrick alongside a covered patio, and an atmosphere that will resemble Forza Storico and Storico Fresco in terms of traditional Italian flare. Wines served at Storico Vino will be available for retail purchase online for delivery or pick-up at Storico Fresco in Buckhead.

“We are thrilled to open at the newly rebranded Buckhead Village,” Gianni said Friday in a press release. “We look forward to bringing a fun, lively experience to this property.” An opening is expected in the fall.

Formerly The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, the mixed-use’s new owner Jamestown quietly rebranded the property as Buckhead Village this year. The real estate developer most notably known for Ponce City Market has slowly been making changes to the center.
