Little Five Points’ longstanding customized t-shirt shop Bang-On after 16 years in business has opened a second location. The new outpost comes by way of a retail kiosk in The Courtyard of Ponce City Market (PCM) in Old Fourth Ward. Bang On is now open and sits across from Q Clothier offering custom tees, masks, sunglasses, bags, pins, and more.
“At Bang-On, we believe fashion should be fun,” Owner Chris Carlock, who founded the company in 2004, said in a press release Monday. “We don’t just sell t-shirts, we help people say something. We regularly have people come in and tell us about shirts they associate with a special memory or time in their life. They may have made them 15 years prior at Bang-On and are still wearing them!”
At PCM, customers can work with the shop’s team to design custom tees and masks with their own image or logo files, or select from Bang-On’s library of designs to make “unique t-shirts that express the wearer.” White and black t-shirts are available for same-day pickup, and colored tees can be picked up the following day. Orders can be submitted in person or online.
Bang On PCM is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Makes sense.
Both L5P and PCM are weekend destinations for the suburban tourists and hipster wannabes.
