The Abby Singer, a new eatery from film and television creative-turned restauranteur Mike Horn, is moving towards a spring opening.
The restaurant was originally expected to open last summer and has been posting its progress with construction on social media. It has also started the process of hiring staff.
Due to open in May, The Abby plans on serving comfortable food cooked with the Midwest in mind.
Eater Atlanta reports that an outdoor, mobile alcohol park, operated by The Abby Singer, will also be opening at Pullman Yards in Kirkwood this May.
Pratt Pullman District confirmed the news on Wednesday.
“We are so excited for this,” Pratt Pullman District said on Facebook.
Called the Historic Rail Park at Pullman Yards, the mobile alcohol park will be built on historic rail lines and is expected to grow as the Pratt Pullman District is built out, Urbanize Atlanta reports.
Pullman Yards, located in Kirkwood, is the site of a former rail yard and features a cluster of historical buildings dating from the early 20th Century to the mid-1960s.
Purchased by Atomic Entertainment in 2017, it has since become the backdrop for Hollywood productions such as The Hunger Games, Fast & Furious, Baby Driver, and more.
Pullman Yards was recently selected to host Van Gough: The Immersive Experience on May 19.
Abby Road will be open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to close.
This business (Abby Singer) along with Atomic Entertainment Development, has scammed the contractors that built the restaurant. They refuse to pay the small businesses they used to build this place. They received 97,000,000 from the city to restore Pullman Yard and to bring jobs to our city. My small businesses has been scammed by these people.
