Big changes are coming at Downtown Roswell’s Canton Street Social. Under new ownership, the restaurant is making plans to transition to a new restaurant concept sometime after the summer.

Manager Mike Hartshorn says that for the time being, Canton Street Social will remain as-is, with the exception of a few menu changes. But over the coming months, he and owner Kamal Singh, who also owns Local on North in Duluth, are planning to open a new restaurant concept in the space. For now, the concept itself remains a mystery, but Hartshorn says they’re considering something in the steakhouse and fine dining realm.

“Downtown Roswell is such an amazing place for the food industry, and we want to figure out what we can manage and how we can do the best job at it,” says Hartshorn.

Stay tuned for more details about the new restaurant concept as we gather them. And if you’re a Canton Street Social enthusiast, head there this summer to bid your bittersweet goodbyes.
