Sure, we’re used to thinking of a game when we hear Roshambo, but Unsukay Restaurants, the group behind a host of ATL restaurant brands, is hoping to retrain us. “What’s Roshambo? Well, traditionally it’s ‘rock, paper, scissors.’ In this case, we’ve replaced ‘rock, paper, scissors’ with ‘breakfast, lunch and dinner,’ ” shares a Craigslist Advertisement for the new eatery’s Chef de Cuisine. “Roshambo is our unique interpretation of a 21st century diner (without being open round-the-clock),” the ad continues.

Roshambo is slated to open at 2355 Peachtree St. NE inside Peachtree Battle Shopping Center. The diner will set up shop in the 3,998 square-foot space that most recently housed Another Broken Egg Café, which closed down earlier this year.

There aren’t too many details on Unsukay’s new concept out there yet, however the group is sure to provide more of what Atlantans already know and love. Todd Mussman and Ryan Turner have known each other for years. The pair opened their first restaurant together, Muss & Turner’s, back in 2005. In 2008, Chef Chris Hall joined the group, and the rest is history. Together, the three stive “to make people feel good and our community a better place.”

Roshambo is slated to open in summer 2022.

  • Thank the lord! So many families in Peachtree Hills and Garden Hills will be happy that not another wig shop, hookah lounge or daquiri bar will be opening around their neighborhood. It will be great to have another family-oriented option to walk to beyond Whitehall (which is still a decent spot for what it is). Thank you, Todd, Ryan and Chris!!!
