Oh Eco Orlando, a forthcoming retail establishment with a focus on sustainability, is a project shared between husband and wife Alyssa Bourmeche and Patrick Bolanos.
We first heard of the concept through Bungalower, here. According to what we read, the couple is moving into the space at 1215 N. Orange Avenue left vacant by Gentry’s BBQ General Store as they move into a larger location in Winter Park.
During a brief interview on Thursday, Bourmeche confirmed that once Gentry’s BBQ vacates at the end of the month, the space will undergo renovations. They hope to open in May. According to their social media, they plan to establish a community driven focus that supports a sustainable lifestyle.
Alyssa Bourmeche spoke with What Now on Thursday: “Sustainability has always been important to me, but especially when I became a mom. I realized that this is our planet, but it’s not ours. It’s for the future generations.”
