East-Chinese BBQ Concept Expands to Central Florida

Friendship BBQ, a franchise chain with a national reach, is setting up an outfit in Orlando at 5126 West Colonial Drive. 

On Wednesday, What Now found a plan review filing with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation on March 8 that confirmed the address, which can also be found on the brand’s website, denoted with “coming soon.” The plan review is still in process.

Franchisees Heqing Li and Ruyi Xa anticipate having the restaurant open in a few months. According to Li, they are still undergoing construction. An exact date is not available as of now. Li shared that his is his first foray into restaurant ownership.

The brand is known for preparing their BBQ on skewers with small portions. You can expect to find these particular menu items at the forthcoming location: Xingjiang Lamb, Beef Tendon, Pork Belly with Enoki Mushroom and many more.

The eatery will neighbor other restaurants: Pho Saigon, BBB Tofu House and Hunan Taste.
