The retail center at the intersection of Flamingo Rd and Arville St appears to be the site of a planned second location of Soyo Korean Barstaurant. Business license paperwork was submitted to Clark County recently for a “SOYO” project at 4433 W Flamingo Rd.

Behind the brand is prolific Las Vegas restaurateur David Sim, who has opened as many as eight restaurants in the last fifteen years—including the original Soyo location on Rainbow Blvd and Robindale Rd, Goong Korean BBQ, and the upcoming Doma Korean BBQ.

Soyo Korean Barstaurant offers popular street foods like ddukkochi (rice cake skewers) and odenkkochi (fish cake skewers), along with other dishes like Kimchi Fried Rice and Chicken on Fire (buldak). The menu is filled out with several other tasty casual Korean dishes like Seafood Green Onion Pancake, Stone Pot Bibimbap, and Gamjatang.

What Now Las Vegas was unable to reach David Sim on Friday. No opening date has been announced for a new Soyo Korean Barstaurant location.
