Franco’s Famous, a Mexican kitchen and cocktails restaurant, could possibly be expanding. A liquor license application attached to the restaurant and owner Gabe Franco has been filed at 207 S. El Camino Real in San Clemente.
From their original outpost in Laguna Hills, Franco’s Famous is a popular spot among locals for their delicious Mexican-inspired dishes and cocktails. They are a great place to get tacos, with Crispy Chicken, Ground Beef, and Shredded Chicken among some of the most popular options.
The menu also has addicting appetizers such as Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos, as well as heartier dishes from Enchiladas to Carne Asada Plates. Of course, their drink menu is what keeps customers engaged for the whole meal.
Franco’s Famous can make a mean Cadillac Margarita or Paloma, and they’ve also recently started offering tequila flights for those who want a taste of everything. If the expansion is going to happen, it’s likely to take place in the coming months. Franco could not be reached for comment.
