With nearly 2,500 locations in the United States, New Jersey-born sandwich megachain Jersey Mike’s Subs is growing nationwide. It’s growing here in Las Vegas too: five Jersey Mike’s locations are currently under development for the Las Vegas Valley, local franchisee Gary Kettler told What Now on Tuesday.

“I was a Domino’s franchisee, and I had retired. Then I saw a lot of friends from Domino’s going over to Jersey Mike’s,” Kettler said. “I like the way the company operates. It has a lot of integrity.”

Jersey Mike’s menu revolves around a selection of hot and cold subs. Hot options include the Portabella Cheesesteak, with peppers, onions, and white American cheese; the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak, which adds jalapeños and extra cheese to the mix; and Mike’s Chicken Philly. The selection of cold subs gives guests choices like the Original Italian, the Cancro Special (All natural oven roasted top rounds and provolone, perfectly complemented with a layer of pepperoni), and Tuna Fish.

Among locations currently under development is a Jersey Mike’s restaurant at 3438 St. Rose Parkway in Henderson. Further locations are also planned in East Henderson, North Las Vegas, and at the intersection of Blue Diamond and Decatur.
