Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse is developing a permanent restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip. The eatery operated as a temporary pop-up steakhouse experience at the Wynn Las Vegas for nearly two years before permanently closing. According to a recent press release, the Taylor Sheridan concept is set to debut inside the MGM Grand at 3131 Las Vegas Blvd S in early 2027.

“MGM Grand has long served as the premier stage for defining moments in global entertainment where memorable experiences and exceptional dining collide,” Ari Kastrati, Chief Content, Hospitality & Development Officer for MGM Resorts said in the press release.

“The arrival of the Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse represents a pivotal moment in the evolution of our guest experience, introducing a pillar of American heritage representing the vision of Taylor Sheridan and his brilliant team at Four Sixes.”

Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan and the historic 6666 Ranch (Four Sixes Ranch) in Guthrie, Texas, created the Western-themed dining concept. Samuel Burk Burnett founded the legendary 6666 Ranch in King County, Texas, in 1870. A popular Texas legend claims Burnett won the ranch in a card game holding four sixes, though the property built a 150-year legacy of raising prime cattle and world-class horses. After Burnett’s great-granddaughter, Anne Marion, died in 2020, a group of buyers led by Taylor Sheridan acquired the ranch in 2021.

The steakhouse made its public debut on September 16, 2024, as a high-profile pop-up restaurant inside Tableau at the Wynn Tower Suites, operating in the evenings. It featured heavy Western aesthetics, celebrity-attended launch events, and Texas-inspired dishes like the Texas Twinkie, Shiner Bock-braised wagyu short rib, and ranch-sourced prime beef. The pop-up ran through June 2026.

Scheduled to reopen in its permanant home at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in early 2027, the steakhouse will replace the former Crush American Grill space and feature prime-grade beef from the ranch, bespoke Texas cuisine, craft cocktails, and immersive digital walls displaying custom Western landscapes from Sheridan.

“The Four Sixes Ranch has always stood for an uncompromising standard of craft and tradition, and bringing that ethos to a stage like MGM Grand is a thrilling evolution,” Sheridan said in the press release.

“Every dish will tell a story of the American West, and we can’t wait to share it with everyone who walks through our doors.”

What Now Las Vegas also reached out to Executive Chef David Middleton to find out more about the upcoming dining experience. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.
