Cumberland County residents looking for a healthier fast-casual option that doesn’t sacrifice speed or flavor will soon have a new favorite go-to. Cava is bringing its unique brand of Mediterranean cuisine to Hampden County, reports local media outlet Penn Live.
The restaurant will occupy 2,400 square feet at 5401 Carlisle Pike, and will feature a drive-thru for customers in a hurry. Cava will be joining several other eateries in the developing Beltway Commons shopping center, a massive 132,144 square foot commercial oasis.
There is currently no estimated opening date for Cava, as the Beltway Commons is still in the development phase. Plans have been submitted to the county, however the project has faced steady delays since it first saw light in 2019.
Cava has seen considerable growth since its inception in 2010. The restaurant currently has 317 United States locations. Cava strives to provide guests with an authentic, fast-casual Mediterranean option. The menu features greens and grain bowls, salads, pitas, and a variety of sides.
