A Philly coffee shop is preparing to help Kensington beat the heat this summer. Local favorite, Rival Bros. Coffee, will be opening a new shop in the Rally Apartments later this year, reports The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The new cafe will be serving steaming cups of its signature java at 1701 North 2nd Street. Rival Bros. hasn’t announced an official opening date for the location yet, committing only to later this year.

Rival Bros., the passion project of long-time friends and native Philadelphians Jonathan Adams and Damien Pileggi, currently has two city locations. The partners have cafes on Lombard and Tasker Streets, with a third slated to open soon on Jefferson Street.

Rival Bros. serves as a love letter to Pennsylvania small businesses. In addition to delicious, single-origin bean coffee blends, roasted daily, the cafes sell pastries from Au Fornil, baked goods from The Might Bread Co., and truffles from Eclat Chocolates.
