Philly area vino aficionados looking for a taste of the wine country’s best will soon be able to savor the best of cabernets and pinots, without ever needing to leave the area. The minds behind Sedona Taphouse are bringing Napa Kitchen and Wine to Newtown Square in 2025, reports The Philadelphia Business Journal.

The restaurant, which will be the brand’s first franchise location, will be opening in the Ellis Preserve at 3805 West Chester Pike in the first quarter of 2025. The 7,500 square foot eatery will be able to accommodate over 400 guests. Napa Kitchen will offer a variety of seating options for hungry visitors; patrons will be able to choose between the 202 seat dining room, the 26 seat bar, the 14 seat wine lounge, or the 100 seat private dining room. Guests hoping to enjoy the local scenery can enjoy al fresco dining on the 100 seat outdoor patio.

The restaurant will be owned and operated by local franchisees David and Lisa Trout. Napa Kitchen will focus on serving classic American fare, with a few Asian-inspired dishes. The establishment will, of course, include an impressive selection of wines.
