April showers are bringing a flourishing Pennsylvania brewery’s latest taproom to the Lehigh Valley this spring. Illumination Brewing, celebrated for its craft beers and hard seltzers, is preparing to open the West End Taproom in Allentown this May, reports local media outlet The Morning Call.

Illumination’s latest location is taking over the space vacated by Greenhouse Enoteca, located at 2114 Tilghman Street. A press release provided to What Now Philadelphia states that the West End Taproom will officially begin greeting customers on May 18.

The brewery, which recently purchased Funk Brewing, will prominently feature its impressive range of craft beers and hard seltzers, in addition to Pennsylvania wine and liquors. Hungry visitors can look forward to feasting on wood-fired pizzas and a selection of small plates.

The West End Taproom will take advantage of the space’s existing architecture to create a unique atmosphere, perfect for a family dinner or for enjoying live music.

The Illumination crew is eager to becoming an essential part of the Allentown craft beer scene. Founder and CEO Chris White states “We are excited to bring our unique blend of craft beverages and gourmet food to Allentown. The West End Taproom is not just about great drinks and food; it’s about creating a community space in the West End of Allentown where families and friends can relax, enjoy live music, engage in trivia nights, and participate in a variety of activities throughout the week.”
