According to recent reporting in Click 6, popular burger brand White Castle will be expanding in central Florida in the near future.

“The overwhelming reception we received in Central Florida when we opened in 2021 continues to connect us even closer to this great community. With that in mind, we are looking forward to opening new Castles. What we can share at this time is that we have confirmed sites in Clermont, and in Kissimmee,” Jamie Richardson, vice president of the brand said in a statement.

White Castle filled permits to build a “5,000 square foot quick service restaurant in the I-Drive district.”

According to the permit filed, this new restaurant would be built off the Northeastern corner of Universal Boulevard and McKenna Drive.
