It appears as though Tacos Y Mas is adding another restaurant in Richardson. The newest addition to the brand will be located at 1000 North Central Expressway, according to a recent project filing.

Tacos Y Mas currently has eight locations in operation across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex including two in Richardson—101 S Coit Rd., #404 and 1600 N Plano Rd. Construction to remodel the 2,000-square-foot space for the new location could begin in May and wrap up in the fall of 2023. There’s no word on when the Tacos Y Mas on North Central Expressway might open to the public.

Until then, diners can enjoy a variety of menu options at other DFW locations. The Tacos Y Mas menu features Mexican street tacos, signature tacos such as chicken chipotle and brisket, and a variety of seafood tacos. Diners can also get burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and a number of dessert options including churros, flan, and tres leches cake.

Mahbub Zaman founded Tacos Y Mas in 1997 and opened the first brick-and-mortar location on Lower Greenville in 2000. Since then, locations have opened in Dallas, Arlington, Hurst, and Lewisville, in addition to the Richardson restaurants.
