The Local Drive is a concept that started last year in RiNo as a place for crafted drinks and a round of virtual golf. Now the company has plans to open a Longmont space at 110 Emery St., Business Den reports.

This new location is a 5,100-square-foot property with three golfing simulator bays that are $60 per hour to rent out. There is also a bar and patio area for socializing and lounging. The concept serves beers and spirits.

Owners of The Local Drive told the publication that they chose Longmont because it’s a growing area with a large demographic range that they can cater to. The permitting and construction processes are also faster in the suburban areas. Posts online from the company last week show construction is underway.

The business also sells its own merchandise —various branded apparel— and offers golf lessons and monthly membership options for those who want to come frequently to practice their swing and have a swig.
